There is a stalled out front over South Florida that may bring us scattered showers over the weekend. This front is but one ingredient that lead to a funnel cloud forming 4 miles west of Coral Springs Friday afternoon. We also had strong upper winds moving in from the Gulf, and low level moisture coming in from the Atlantic. All these features combined brought us plenty of instability and from that , the funnel was formed. Fortunately it never touched down.
Sunday should be nicer and much of next week is looking good.
