Much of the Same

NOW:
High pressure is still providing for a persistent ocean breeze creating some problems out on the water for beach goers and boaters. However, look for a mix of sun and clouds and breezy conditions for one more day.
On Wednesday,
High pressure weakens as a weak front enters North Florida. This will help lighten up the breeze and improve conditions out on the waters. As the front gets closer to South Florida a slightly better chance of rain will be in the forecast for Thursday. Do not expect a temperature change with this front.
Weekend:
It's never too early to start thinking about weekend plans... This upcoming Sunday, December 9th, 2012 The Toys in the Sun Run takes place at 9:30am. Come ride with me for some really special kids. The motorcycle ride starts at Mardi Gras Casino in Hallandale Beach and will end with live entertainment at Markham Park in Sunrise. Look for spectacular weather and don't forget to bring a new unwrapped toy. This event will benefit the Joe DiMaggios Children's Hospital and the James Jr. Fund. Come help bring a smile to special kids this holiday season.

Have a great Tuesday South Florida and make it a safe one!

The dome of warm air that has not budged will bring the peak heat of the upper 80s with a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms over the next few days.

Good-bye mild weather:
I hope you've enjoyed our recent mild temps teamed up with drier air. A dome of warm air will push the mercury readings into the ballpark of our 87° average over the next couple of days. A cold front sweeping to the north will add more clouds to the scenery with a slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms into next week.
