Much Warmer
Posted by Vivian Gonzalez
Winter weather has been far from our reach and it looks like we will not be experiencing it any time soon. We have a high pressure system building to our north. This should maintain conditions mostly dry, but breezy along the coast starting Wednesday. However, any time we have ocean type air in place we tend to see a few dotted showers moving in and out. As the breeze will range between 15-20mph at times, beach goers and boaters should keep in mind that the waters will be rough. The breeze should relax a little by Friday.
The area of high pressure we will have in place will keep the air much warmer to the point where we could near some records in the afternoon on Wednesday. Temperatures will remain above average for this time year through next week. Look for low temperatures in the low 70s near the coast to upper 60s inland and high temperatures in the low 80s (our average low is 60 degrees and high temperature is 76 degrees).
Have a wonderful Wednesday

Record heat is possible in Miami. The forecast is calling for a high of 92 degrees, old record is 94 set back in 1989.
