Seasonal Weather
Posted by Vivian Gonzalez
South Florida seasonal weather continues albeit on the cloudy side of things. Luckily the clouds streaming over us are not rain producers. As skies clear tonight, look for temperatures to fall a tad more where we will see some 50s through Thursday morning. We have an area of high pressure in control and a cool breeze from the North-Northeast. This breeze is making for choppy seas. Therefore, beach goers and boaters need to be extra cautious out on the water.
By the end of the week and into the weekend, practically no changes will take place. In fact, the stronger cold front the models had been advertising the last few days, is not going to make it to South Florida. Computer models are in better agreement that this cold front will lose steam and fall apart around Central Florida over the weekend. Outside of a stray shower along an ocean breeze, the weekend for us is looking nice and seasonal...
South Florida we will remain the envy around the nation... An Arctic blast where bone chilling temperatures and dangerous wind chills are being experience from the Midwest to the Northeastern states. The Midwest will be dealing today with increasing bands of snow and the Northeast with cold air to the point where temperatures around New York will be running 15 to 20 degrees below normal. We have to admit South Florida, aren't we glad to be living here?
Have a wonderful Wednesday South Florida and make it a safe one!

Wet and Soggy Work Week
Clouds with hints of sunshine will be the routine over the next couple of days. The push of more warm, moist air will amp up the instability over South Florida tonight bringing a chance for heavy rain. A Flood Watch is in effect for the Miami-Dade and Broward Counties until 10pm. An area of low pressure sweeping to the north will keep a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms at the start of the weekend.
