Simply Seasonal
Posted by Vivian Gonzalez
South Florida we are off to a cool start with some spots waking up into the 50s... Light sweaters and jackets have been needed, but can be put away in the afternoon as temperatures will be on the comfortable side of things. We have a blocking area of high pressure in place providing for clear skies and dry conditions. This area of high pressure should remain in control of our weather through Friday.
Over the weekend, a weak front will fall apart over Central Florida having little to no consequence to our weather. High pressure will still be present. The only change will be our wind direction turning out of the East. This ocean type air could drive in the occasional sprinkle, but it should stay mostly dry. Temperature wise, look for morning lows in the 60s and afternoon high temperatures in the upper 70s... Simply Seasonal.
Have a wonderful Thursday South Florida and make it a safe one!

Our Weekend Warm-up
We were spoiled with a mild start to the week as the air was drier and the highs were below normal. Over the next few days, it will be hot with more humidity as we reach seasonal afternoon heat. The dome of warm air that has not budged will bring the peak heat of the upper 80s with a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms over the next few days.

Good-bye mild weather:
I hope you've enjoyed our recent mild temps teamed up with drier air. A dome of warm air will push the mercury readings into the ballpark of our 87° average over the next couple of days. A cold front sweeping to the north will add more clouds to the scenery with a slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms into next week.

One last mild day:
High pressure will keep us mostly dry under sunny skies and enjoying mild temps for this time of year. You can thank a huge dome of high pressure sitting over us for the lovely conditions. High pressure after all, is your fair-weather friend.
