Changes Coming
Posted by Vivian Gonzalez
South Florida changes are coming soon. It's been rather warm this week with an area of high pressure in control of our weather pattern. Since it is centered far away, it has been breezy at times along the coast. However, this breeze makes it feel refreshing and helps our temperatures warm up. This afternoon high temperatures will range in the low 80s with the occasional spotty shower along the ocean breeze we have in place.
On Wednesday, high pressure will weaken as it slips farther out into the Western Atlantic ocean. The wind will swing around out of the South and allow for the humidity to increase. This will also aid in making temperatures feel warmer. By Thursday morning, a weak cold front will approach South Florida and this will be probably our best chance of seeing some isolated showers early... We could really use some rain... Skies will clear out throughout the day and the evening will be slightly cooler. In fact, computer models have trended temperatures slightly lower than our average low temperature for this time of year (Average low is 61 degrees). Right now, morning low temperatures are expected in the upper 50s.
Have a wonderful Tuesday South Florida and make it a safe one!
