Wednesday heat
Posted by Phil Ferro
Hang on to your hats we are in for quite the temperature ride over the next few days:
Winds will shift on Wednesday, coming in out of the South/Southwest ushering in some very warm temps. We will be flirting with records across the area. After the heat, we can expect some rain from Thursday through Saturday, then cooler temps for Saturday night.

This "Rollercoaster Ride" will be courtesy of a cold front making its way across the Southeast. This front will make conditions favorable for severe weather from Alabama to Georgia before moving over the Sunshine State and dropping rain here.
Once the front clears South Florida on Saturday, overnight lows will dip into the mid 50's.
