Plenty of Moisture
Posted by Vivian Gonzalez
South Florida plenty of moisture has been left behind a front that has stalled over the Florida straits. Therefore, gloomy skies continue for South Florida through early Saturday. Until the front gets pushed away, a chance for showers will be in the forecast. Luckily the lack of sunshine is helping to keep the showers that have been around from growing stronger.
Most of the computer models are suggesting that another cold front currently over the middle part of the United States will be moving through quickly on Saturday to take away the unsettled weather and pick up the breeze out of the North up to 20mph. The breeze will help to bring in the cold air quickly and boy are we going to be feeling Winter here in South Florida. Temperature readings are expected to tumble into the 40s on Sunday morning. It looks like the chilly weather will stick around through Presidents Day. This could the coldest air so far for us this season...
A Freeze Watch has been issued for Broward county for araes West of the Sawgrass Xpwy and US 27 starting Saturday night and lasting through Sunday morning.
Have a wonderful weekend South Florida and make it a safe one!
