Steady Warming
Posted by Vivian Gonzalez
After experiencing the coldest air so far of the season... a steady warming trend is underway. Yes you will need the layers early, but by the afternoon high temperatures will near 70 degrees. This is a completely different story then Sunday when high temperatures only reached the upper 50s. The cold air connection is already being turned off since cold Canadian high pressure is beginning to weaken. As it slowly moves farther out into the Western Atlantic Ocean, the return of an ocean breeze will be warming conditions up for South Florida.
Temperature readings as we head into the middle of the week will be on the warm side with high temperatures back into the 80s and lows in the lower 70s. It should stay mostly dry throughout the majority of the week. No major changes expected.
Have a wonderful holiday South Florida and make it a safe one!

A cold front sweeping to the north will add more clouds to the scenery with a slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms into next week.
