The envy everywhere
Posted by Vivian Gonzalez
South Florida throughout the next few days we will be the envy everywhere while the heartland braces themselves for a big snowstorm that could be a potential worry for the Northeast over the weekend. We will remain under the influence of an area of high pressure to keep things nice and warm. Outside of an isolated coastal sprinkle, it will be quiet with highs in the 80s. However, come next Monday high temperatures could reach the middle 80s for South Florida.
As for the heartland anywhere between Nebraska and Kansas could see up to two feet of snow. Now if this snowstorm holds, it will be traveling to the Northeast where they don't need additional snows. Strong gusty winds, colder air and up to a foot of snow could be possible for them.
Have a wonderful Friday eve South Florida and make it a safe one!

Drier air has returned and even the humidity has "backed down" for the time being.

White Hot Long Weekend

A white hot day is underway... Today we will have a very similar situation with high temperatures reaching the low 90s. However, it will feel hotter because the humidity levels are high. Record heat is possible in Miami. The forecast is calling for a high of 92 degrees, old record is 94 set back in 1989.
