Warmer then Cold Again
Posted by Vivian Gonzalez
South Florida it will be warmer for Wednesday and then cold weather again will be experienced to finish off the week. High pressure is weakening in the wake of another winter storm developing over the middle part of the country. As much as over a foot of snow is expected with this system over Washington D.C., West Virginia and Virginia in the next 48 hours. The tail of this winter storm is the cold front set to move in through South Florida on Wednesday.
Some showers will be introduced into the forecast for Wednesday, but the models are not picking up much in the way of activity ahead of this cold front. In fact, we will be focusing on the continued cold weather will get to end the week. By the weekend, high pressure that will be control of our weather will begin to slide East into the Western Atlantic Ocean allowing for temperatures to bounce back to seasonal levels. The weekend overall should be mostly dry, mild and simply nice!
Reminder: On Sunday daylight saving time begins at 2am so before you go to bed on Saturday be sure to set your clock forward by one hour as we Spring forward!
Have a great Tuesday South Florida and make it a safe one.

The HEAT Continues
Posted by Vivian Gonzalez
The "HEAT" Continues South Florida. High temperatures expected to range in the low 90s with the feel's like temperatures in the triple digits. Summer officially starts on Friday and we've been feeling the "HEAT" for a while now. This is due to steamy winds from the South as there is an area of high pressure centered in the Western Atlantic Ocean extending into the Gulf of Mexico. As far as rain chances are concerned, we will have typical chances each afternoon through Friday of seeing spotty inland storms. By the weekend, we could be dealing with a few more showers, but still feeling the Summer "HEAT." Temperature reading will be normal.

Summer officially begins on Friday and wouldn't you know it... it's started a few weeks early for us with temperature reading a few degrees above where we should be for this time of year. The weather so far has been great and outside of a spotty inland storm today and Thursday that is basically it. On Friday, we could see some more moisture around.
