South Florida warmer winds is eventually leading to more clouds and the possibility of seeing some showers through the end of the week. We have an area of high pressure out in the Western Atlantic Ocean to thank for the wonderful weather over the weekend. This area of high pressure is already showing signs it is weakening and with it drawing in warm winds from the South.
As we head into Tuesday, more clouds will build and a chance of showers introduced into the forecast. In fact, the chance of showers will stay with us through Friday. The reason for the showers is because of a weak front that will hover over Lake Okeechobee and then move back North as a warm front by the end of the week. Luckily, another area of high pressure will settle into the Southeast United States to bring in drier less humid air to South Florida for the weekend.
Note: Spring officially begins Wednesday March 20, 2013 at 7:02am.... Expect Spring Showers possible.
Have a great start to the week South Florida and make it a safe one!
