Wouldn't you know it South Florida we are in Spring and it is about to get chilly. A cold front located over Central Florida responsible for the wild weather in Orlando, gusty winds and heat over the weekend is set to move in Monday afternoon. As a result, periods of strong showers and storms have been experienced over the Florida Keys and Southern Miami-Dade throughout the morning hours. This weather will soon come to end as the cold front clears and bringing winds of change out of the North. Much cooler air will be felt by the evening as temperatures dip into the 50s.
The real cold air will not be felt until Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Computer models are indicating that temperatures could reach the middle 40s and we could easily tie or shatter our old records for Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. Through the rest of the week look for chilly Spring mornings and mild afternoons. It will not be until the weekend that temperatures will bounce back to seasonal levels.
Have a great Monday and be sure to have your umbrellas early just in case you encounter some wet weather.
