Everything is quiet, but it may not last long. Models hint at the next round of rain/strong storms to move in sometime around 2 - 3am. This rain could stick around through the early morning drive.
All watches and warnings have been allowed to expire.
So many reports from Broward county Thursday afternoon from a line of strong storms that rumbled through the area. Here is just a small sample sent to us from NWS:
- SPOTTER REPORTED NICKEL SIZED HAIL AT HILLSBORO BLVD AND SR 441
- 60-70 MPH WIND GUST ESTIMATED BY SPOTTER NEAR FEDERAL HWY AND 23RD AVE.
- 58 MPH WIND GUSTS AT PALMVIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
- 58 MPH SUSTAINED WIND WITH 75 MPH WIND GUSTS AT NORTH BROWARD MEDICAL CENTER.
Hail reports came in to our office from Alligator Alley through Coral Springs. We also received wind reports of 40 / 50 / 60 mph gusts over Weston and Pembroke Pines.
There is till a chance for strong storms tonight through Friday morning.
