Quiet For Now
Posted by Vivian Gonzalez
Happy Wednesday everyone!
The weather remains quiet for now. High pressure is still in place providing for a nice ocean breeze. However, it is pretty typical for this time of year to see a few dotted coastal showers or sprinkles early as a result. Overall the day should be mostly dry along the metro areas of Miami-Dade and Broward including the Florida Keys. By the afternoon, the sea breeze will bubble up some isolated showers and storms, but because of our ocean breeze they will be pushed into Southwest Florida. This pattern will follow us through the majority of the week.
Our weather is set to change by Friday night. High pressure will weaken due to a big mess that is developing currently over the Rockies. The tail end is a cold front (not the cooling kind) that is expected to move East and stall over our state this weekend. As it does so the rain chances go up. Therefore, look for clouds to build and spotty showers and storms at times.
As far as temperature readings are concerned, we will experience summer-like temperatures until further notice. High temperatures will range in the middle to upper 80s.
Have a wonderful Wednesday South Florida and make it a safe one!
