Good morning South Florida! On this Friday we are off to a quiet start, but by the afternoon the sea breeze could form some isolated showers and storms around the interior locations. This is a sign that our weather pattern is changing as we head into the weekend.
We have an area of high pressure weakening allowing a cold front to move in and stall over Central Florida on Saturday. Therefore, deeper moisture will be coming in from the Gulf of Mexico setting the stage for seeing strong showers and storms both Saturday and Sunday. Most of the computer models are indicating that a good chance of rain is in the forecast and moisture could hang around through early Monday.
Another area of high pressure will build around the Southeast United States to improve conditions sometime Monday. Throughout the rest of the week we will see sunshine, but each afternoon our daily sea breeze collisions will fire up the some inland showers and storms. Overall the rest of the upcoming week is looking great!
Have a wonderful weekend South Florida and make it a safe one!
