Breezy, but beautiful

It's a big change in our weather pattern. The rain has moved out, and outdoor conditions have improved dramatically! You may have noticed the increase in winds (among other changes). It's the result of being in between low pressure to our east and high pressure to our north. Winds are arriving from the ocean and the main concern involves rip currents along the Atlantic beaches. Looking ahead into the middle of the week, the overall pattern holds in place. Expect seasonal temperatures and a lot of dry time.
On the weather map is a long stretched-out front that's moving toward the eastern seaboard. Ahead of the boundary is a lot of warm and moist air... and there's a big swath of rain. Could that be the return of rain showers for south Florida? Probably not. Fact is, the front is forecast to flatten out and weaken as it gets closer to our state. Eventually, the front will stall-out too far north to impact our local weather!
It's already been a wetter-than-normal April... and as the month winds down... we'll stay mainly dry. Of course, the start of the Rainy Season usually begins in May, so it's getting quite close to that time!
