South Florida unsettled weather continues. Periods of heavy rain are expected on Thursday. This could lead to localized street flooding since the ground is extremely saturated from the rounds of rain we have received. We have two features responsible for the rain: an upper-level low around the Gulf coast states and a surface low located in the Central Gulf of Mexico. As the upper-level low moves Northeast, it will slowly drag the surface low East toward Florida. Some of the long range models are showing that a decent chance of rain will be in the forecast through Sunday.
