One More Wet Day
Posted by Vivian Gonzalez
One more wet day is expected around South Florida before drier conditions settle in through the rest of the week.
A weak cold front located over Central Florida will continue to press South and ahead a high chance of rain is expected late this afternoon. Therefore, please have the rain gear and pack the patience throughout your evening commute as rain will be the cause for traffic troubles. The forecast is calling for heavy downpours, gusty winds, dangerous lightning and localized street flooding with the activity that forms.
Computer models are showing that slow clearing will happen overnight as another area of high pressure will be settling in around the Southeast United States. Lower humidity and pleasant temperatures definitely make for a nice Tuesday. Today highs will range in the upper 80s and tomorrow in the low 80s. In fact, the rest of the week is looking nice and quiet.
Have a wonderful Monday South Florida and make it a safe one!
