South Floridians love to celebrate and Monday is the day to honor the 2013 NBA Champions: Miami Heat. The victory parade begins at 11 in the morning and continues into the afternoon (and it may even continue beyond that)! The weather conditions look "favorable". Expect typical, late June humidity. Temperatures, meanwhile, will rise from the middle to upper 80s. As for rain possibilities... since we're in the thick of the Rainy Season... there's always a chance. However, the rain chance on Monday is considerably "lower than normal". The reason? Drier and more stable air is arriving from the east. If we're lucky, we'll even get a beneficial ocean breeze during the hottest part of the day (which happens to be during the parade)!
With the onshore pattern that's in place, we'll see some random late-night and early morning showers or sprinkles near the coast. Then, the developing sea breeze could spark a few inland storms during the afternoon (Everglades and west coast-based).
