Wetter changes are likely to impact South Florida weather this weekend. We have a few Westward moving tropical waves in the Caribbean and although they are well to the South, we could be tapping into some of the moisture from them starting Friday.
High pressure anchored over the Southeast United States and into the Western Atlantic Ocean providing for our typical Summertime pattern is set to weaken. As it weakens, our winds will relax and veer out of the South. Also, our steering winds in the upper levels will be out of the West-Southwest. translating into anytime downpours and storm motion to start inland, then move to the East coast. Therefore, a good chance of rain will be in the forecast through possibly the upcoming week. Not to mention the heat will also be a topic of conversation.
Tropical Update: All is quiet for now. We are not monitoring an areas of interest for development in the next 24-48 hours.
We made it to the middle part of the week South Florida... Make is a great one!
