Drier Weather Coming Soon
Posted by Vivian Gonzalez
Why so wet today? We have the Bermuda high pressure centered in the Western Atlantic Ocean allowing our air flow to be out of the South. This helps to draw up North deep tropical moisture from the Caribbean. Another key ingredient to the enhanced activity today has been a pocket of cold air in the middle levels of the atmosphere that has moved in from the Bahamas... Those two ingredients has set the stage for anytime downpours today.
We will have to deal with a chance of showers on Wednesday once again, but drier weather is coming soon South Florida and just in time for the fourth of July. The forecast is looking drier as the Bermuda high will be building in and with it nudging a batch of dry air too from the Bahamas. We will have a slight chance to see showers. At least when its time for the firework, it will be mostly dry.
Have a great Tuesday and make it a safe one. Stay tuned to your Storm Station 7news!
