Spotty showers and storms have been moving in and out on Tuesday morning. As the breeze picks up and sea breeze collisions take place, we should see showers and storms move inland by the afternoon. The only difference is that there is more cloud coverage today along the coast.
Our weather pattern will definitely change by Wednesday night. This is due to the remnant moisture of what is left of Dorian located to the East of the Bahamas. If the moisture holds, we are looking at heavy rains from Wednesday night through Thursday. Most of the computer models are showing that the moisture could even linger through Friday.
As far as the remnants of Dorian are concerned, The National Hurricane Center is giving it a low chance of 20% to develop in the next 48 hours and the window is closing... There is dry air to the South and an upper-level low nearby that has been keeping the remnants from regenerating.
Have a great Tuesday and make it a safe one!
