Dorian is not done yet
The remnants of Dorian became slightly better organized Saturday morning. Dorian regenerated into a tropical depression. This system is tracking north over 200 miles east of Jacksonville, Florida with maximum sustained winds at 35mph. Tropical depression Dorian is expected to remain over the Atlantic waters and not be a threat to coastal areas. Additionally, it really has a short window for growth because by Saturday night it will run into a front sweeping south into North Florida. This is expected to rip the system apart. Finally!
The moisture pool associated with Dorian caused some thunderstorms across South Florida on Friday and should still provide some shower activity this weekend with Saturday being the wettest day.
Sunday is looking better.
