Storms form again
Posted by Vivian Gonzalez
Over the weekend someone was struck by lightning on Saturday at Milton E. Thompson Park in Doral, Fl. The lightning once again today will be a concern with the storms that form. These storms are expected to brew over the West and slowly move to the Eastern locations. Strong gusty winds up to 50mph as well as localized urban flooding may accompany these thunderstorms. This weather pattern will continue for today and tomorrow, so keep those umbrellas handy! Water bottles are also a must for today because the feels like temperatures will reach between 100°-104°. As we head into Thursday and Friday, an upper-level low will move over the Florida Straits. This means that our chances for rain will continue.
Tropics: Development not expected in the next few days.
Have a great day and make it a safe one!
