Back to School

Wishing all kids, teachers and parents a great new school year! Parents don't forget to pack the rain gear in your kids bags just in case...
The weather for the first day of school is looking pretty good. Look for seasonal heat and rain chances in the forecast. However, for those of you visiting South Florida or on vacation and planning to hit the beach, rip currents continue to be a concern. Right now the risk is high. If you are not an experienced swimmer, stay out of the water or swim at a guarded beach.
Back to school forecast
Morning: As you are dropping off the kids at the bus stop, look for partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of a quick shower. Lows will range in the low 80s.
Afternoon: Strong sunshine with a nice ocean breeze. Highs around 90 with a 40% chance of seeing spotty sea breeze storms inland and favoring Southwest Florida.
Tropics: All is quiet for now.
Have a great start to the week and make it a safe one!
