Weather Update: Parents don't forget to pack the rain gear in your kids bags just in case!
A typical August pattern is in place on this second day of school. We have had so far overnight and morning coastal showers. By the afternoon, storms will form well inland and favor Southwest Florida. Temperature readings will remain seasonal as well. However, on this Tuesday morning we have seen enhanced shower and storm activity around South Florida waters due to an upper low located in the Caribbean Sea drawing moisture North. For the most part, high pressure is the dominant feature continuing a persistent breeze out of the East. Therefore, the rip current risk is high.
No major changes expected through the rest of the week.
Tropics: We are not watching any areas of concern for development at the time.
Have a great day and make it a safe one!
