Drier Air Pushing South

More Sunshine on the Way
It was a wet start to the week, but drier air started moving in on Thursday. We still cannot rule out the possibility of stray showers and thunderstorms popping up on Thursday night as clouds linger over South Florida.
Friday is looking better. With some moisture sticking around, we could see spotty storms as a result to start off the weekend.
Tropics: Watching 2
Humberto is done in the open Atlantic waters. The last advisory was issued on Thursday evening. The National Hurricane Center is eyeing a cluster of clouds and showers midway between the Bahamas and Bermuda. They are giving it a low chance of developing into a tropical cyclone over the next 3-5 days.
A broad low in the southwest of the Gulf of Mexico is not looking that healthy. This system is expected to bring heavy rainfall across the east coast of Mexico. Development chances have dropped from 80% to 60% (but still high) of this system become a tropical cyclone over the next 3-5 days.
