Summer Sun this Weekend

Finally Days of Summer Sunshine
Dry air will continue to seep into South Florida as a ridge of high pressure sits to the north of us. Mostly dry skies on Friday night will become mostly sunny skies for the weekend with a few sprinkles in the Keys. This weak area of high pressure will start to breakdown into next week as a frontal boundary sweeps to the north and tropical moisture streams into the sunshine state. Expect wetter days to start off the fall season by next week.
Tropics: Eyes on Two
Showers are minimizing and the center of circulation is less defined with an area of low pressure over the western Gulf of Mexico. This system has a low chance of becoming a tropical cyclone over the next 48 hours, but a medium chance over the next 3-5 days as it continues to churn in the warm Gulf waters.
A broad low south of Bermuda still has a low chance of becoming a tropical cyclone over the next 3-5 days as the disorganized system tracks to the east in the Atlantic Ocean. If this system gains strengthen, it will be a threat to the shipping lanes.
