Mix of Sun and Clouds

Just Add Moisture
More sunshine will take us into the week ahead. We will see mostly sunny skies on Columbus Day. Some dry air will continue to linger, but surrounding moisture will start to move in over South Florida. Therefore, we still cannot rule out the possibility of isolated sprinkles on Monday.
Heading to the beach? There will be slight risk of rip currents. Taking out the boat? Expect no boating advisories for the Miami-Dade and Broward coastal waters and the Florida Keys.
We will see more clouds pop-up on Wednesday. Our mid-week forecast will also bring a slight chance of passing showers that will stick around into the weekend.
Eyes on the Tropics
Still watching an area of low pressure in the Eastern Atlantic around 900 miles east of the Lesser Antilles. It became disorganized over the weekend. It has a low (10%) chance of developing into a tropical cyclone over the next 5 days.
