We have had beautiful days here in South Florida with mild temperatures. The nice weather will continue through Friday as high pressure will remain in control around the Southeast United States. Over the weekend, high pressure will start to slide into the Western Atlantic Ocean as a cold front will stall over North Florida. The return of an ocean breeze will allow for more clouds to move in and possible rain showers. Right now, the chance for rain is slim, but over the weekend there will be a slightly better chance of rain. Overall, it should be a great one!
Also, we will have a full moon these next few days leading into the weekend. Therefore, during times of high tide we could see some minor coastal flooding. Areas susceptible to this is Miami Beach and Hollywood around A1A.
Tropics: We have an area of showers and storms close to the Bahamas extending to Bermuda. Some of the computer models are showing that an area of low pressure could form near Bermuda, which is why The National Hurricane Center is giving this area a low chance to develop during the next 5 days.
Have a great day South Florida and make it a safe one!
