Cloudy and Damp
Posted by Vivian Gonzalez
South Florida times of rain have caused traffic troubles on Wednesday morning. The reason for the rain are two weak cold fronts we are following closely. The first front will fall apart over South Florida Wednesday night and the second will completely cross through on Thursday. Ahead of these fronts skies will be cloudy and conditions damp as well. For now, we have to get through Thursday and then drier weather moves in.
An area of high pressure is expected to build over the Southeast United States to help draw in a nice breeze from the North-Northeast bringing down the humidity and temperatures by a few degrees. We are not expecting a significant cool down with these fronts. In fact, we will not see overnight/morning lows below 60s degrees to whip out those sweaters until the first week of November on average, but we will take the comfortable and dry weather as we head into the weekend.
Tropics: Tropical Storm Lorenzo should start to weaken by Wednesday and dissipate in 72 hours. It remains only a concern for the fishing lanes in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
Have a wonderful day South Florida and make it a safe one!
